Marilyn M. Soper

I am a soon to be graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a BA in Creative Writing and English. I will be entering the Master's program at SNHU in July.

Member of the following honor societies: Sigma Tau Delta (National English Society), Alpha Sigma Lambda, Sigma Alpha Pi (Leadership and success), and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

I will often go by Sassysnaps; a nickname formed by her maiden name-Sass. I call myself a "retired" RN (due to a rare immune disorder) I am limited in my outside exposure. My nursing career spanned over twenty-seven years; practicing as a visiting nurse for the past seventeen years.

While I work on my Master's degree I stay busy writing three separate Memoirs--"My Mother's Voices," "So, You Couldn't Have a Baby...Get a Puppy!," And "VNA Nurses...Can These Stories Really Be True?" I also write a weekly blog. I am also a member of the National Association of Memoir Writers (NAMW) and American Writers & Artists Inc.

I am currently living on the South Shore of Massachusetts with my Husband of seventeen years Benjamin, my sweet little cat and our two German Shepherds and when I'm not writing, you can find me playing catch in the backyard with my "kids," Chloe and Charlie.

Loves: Ben, two big German Shepherds, one little cat, photography, writing, swimming, cycling, gardening, guitars, coin collecting, music and friends, and family.

Dislikes: too much snow, Political fighting, power outages, bad memes, and writers block.
