My love for the written word began when my mother introduced me to one very special person: Nancy Drew. I was young at the time, but I still remember how enthralled I was with Carolyn Keene’s novels. It was hard to ever put them down or even think of anything besides their unfolding mysteries. It has always intrigued me how authors--total strangers--can touch lives in ways others sometimes cannot. Their words can open your mind to new ideas, make you smile, laugh, cry, and even transport you to better worlds. My dream is to inspire, entertain, and touch lives the ways my favorite authors have with me.
