Quick question: who remembers the 1990s?

It was a glorious decade with some of the best television shows you've ever seen. Nothing like the swill they broadcast on the airwaves today. A few weeks back, I took a look at Rugrats. This week, let's explore another Nick classic, "Kenan & Kel." Enough talk, the time has come to give kids television more scrutiny than it deserves! With no further ado, I give you some life lessons learned from this comedic duo that made their mark on All That and then their own show

1. Soda is fine in moderation.

2. Accept people for who they are.

3. Kind acts like helping the elderly can really make a difference.

4. Always give people a hand when things get broken.

5. The truth will set you free.

6. Think outside the box.

7. Treat the customer with respect.

8. Learning a foreign language is fun.

9. Turn to your peers if you need help in class.

10. Coolio was only cool in the '90s

Just kidding, we love you, Coolio! Keep rockin' on.

This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
