If you are anything like me, you love taking baths. "Soaking" is what I refer to my "alone time." Whether it's late at night or early in the morning, taking a bath is one of the most relaxing things you could do for yourself, which doesn't cost a thing! People may view bathing as "sitting in your own dirt," but I don't see it that way at all. Maybe because I'm so in love in indulging myself in a tub of warm water.

You know you are obsessed when...

1. You sit long enough for you to turn into a prune. And you aren't mad about this either. You will sit in there and check your phone, maybe even eat. Anything is possible when you're taking a bath when you put your mind to it.

2. When the water starts to lower, you refill the bathtub.

3. You know the perfect water temperature- not too hot, not too cold. Just RIGHT! It's a science you have down.

4. You have mastered the art form of holding your cell phone while sitting in the bathtub, which is a pretty big accomplishment.

5. Candles set the mood, whether it's one or six candles surrounding you.

6. Along with candles, bubbles are a MUST HAVE! Or if you are more into using bath salts (I prefer bubbles, but to each their own).

7. You bathe so much that you think you could be a mermaid (or mer-man).

8. You have your music playing to add to the relaxation.

9. You take constant bathtub pictures of your feet/faucet so the people know that your soak game is on 10.

10. Soaking before anything- plans with friends or going to bed.

11. When you haven't taken a bath in quite some time and you start to question yourself and your life decisions.

12. Soaking is the cheapest (and BEST) form of therapy. Whether you sit for 5 minutes or an hour, you can always rely on a good soak to lighten your mood.

Just thinking about it, I think I might go take a bath! Not always are you washing your hair or shaving your body, but being able to sit and relax with no distractions is paradise. I might shower early in the day, and bathe at night, so when people say you are "sitting in your own filth," I beg to differ! There are health benefits that come with bathing, such as muscle and stress relief, better sleep, and it helps with your skin! Give it a chance. Treat yourself to a hot bath today

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
