Why Babies Are So Mesmerizing

Babies are so pure and innocent in every which way, and being able to express my love for babies in this writing is more than pleasing.

Why Babies Are So Mesmerizing

From their tiny little feet which fit into the palm of your hand to their cute button noses and their soft heads and tender bodies babies are the most mesmerizing creations. Not only are babies super adorable in every aspect but everything about them is so pure and innocent. From the minute they take their first breath and open their eyes for the very first time everything becomes so new and fascinating.

When you hold a baby it is very therapeutic. To just have them lay with you as you feel their heartbeat and their breathing and the adorable little noises they make while sleeping, and if you're lucky enough you'll catch them shoot a smile in their sleep while they dream about beautiful things. Even just looking into an infant's eyes is definitely a type of therapy on its own; staring into their eyes while they look at you like you are the most interesting thing in the world is like you are staring into their soul while learning so much about them and falling in love without a single word being said. Being able to tell so much about an infant's emotions at the time by their facial expressions is the best. They do not hide their emotions, they just express how they feel. If they have a problem you will know, trust me. Even just having their two little fingers wrapped around yours as they turn purple because their grasp is so tight like they never want to let go and lose the love and care you have for them.

The smallest things make them so happy; it could be a stupid dance or a silly looking face and, to them, you just became superman/superwoman because of how hard you made them belly-laugh. They take nothing for granted. When you attempt to make them laugh and their mouth is open and their giggle is delayed by them thinking through whether they felt that it was funny or scary. So many thoughts and new emotions fill up their mind. From the minute they're born, they are changing day-by-day. It could be the smallest change that not even their mother would notice, but they grow and develop in the blink of an eye. Watching an infant grow and build their own personality is definitely the most compelling feeling I have ever felt. They take in so much in one day. Watching them slowly build their own personality is captivating and it happens so quickly.

Even the smell of a newborn baby is relaxing enough on its own. They should make a newborn scented candle, because the smell of a newborn baby makes me the happiest person alive it is almost indescribable. I cannot imagine the feeling of being a mother and I cannot wait to experience that love and the bond a mother builds with their child. Watching an infant's face light up when their mother or father walks into the room is so adorable, understanding that their mother and father are their entire world.

Needless to say, every little aspect about a baby is intriguing, and they are precious little gems that need the best tender love and care to grow into something even more beautiful. From their wobbly penguin-like walks to their army crawls, messy eating, stinky diapers, boogers everywhere on their face, and loud piercing cries, babies are exquisite. As I like to say, "holding a baby a day keeps sadness and stress away." Babies have the ability to instantly put a smile one someone's face no matter the type of day they are struggling through and to me that's more than amazing, it's beyond what words can describe.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
