Who Really Won The Second Presidential Debate?
Business Insider

On Sunday night, I, among many other potential voters sat down and tuned in to watch two of our least favorite people, Democratic candidate Hilary Clinton and her Republican opponent Donald Trump, face off in the second presidential debate of the 2016 election.

As both candidates fueled fire with fire, throwing accusations of sexual assault, allegations of lies and deceit, and sarcastic comments around the room at Washington University, the second presidential debate earned the spot for one of the most memorable debates in United States History.

During the debate, audience members got their chance to ask the candidates questions about their plans on pressing issues upon being elected president. These questions sparked much arguing, but left many scratching their heads trying to figure out to what end. Many viewers (and most likely the audience members) were still, if not more, confused as to which candidate was worthy of receiving their vote.

However, in a debate that seemed like it was doomed to tear our nation even further in two, a beacon of light shined from within the audience. Just as we were being driven further and further away from determining whether either candidate should lead our country, one man brought hope and unity to the people.

Kenneth Bone, one of the undecided audience members who was given the chance to ask the candidates a question about energy policy, has been receiving an influx of attention since Sunday night's debate. Upon getting his chance to speak to the candidates, Bone single-handedly ripped the spotlight right out from under both Clinton and Trump's feet, stealing the hearts of viewers everywhere in the process.

Maybe it was his call to fashion in the red pullover and white tie combo. Maybe it was his devilishly good looks. Maybe it was because he was dangerously relatable. Maybe it was the whole package. Whatever it might have been, Ken Bone seems to have done in a few moments what neither candidate has succeeded to do throughout the entire campaign thus far.

Before even speaking a single word, Bone began to be celebrated as well as accumulate a tremendously positive response for just being his spectacular self among viewers and people of the internet. While people can't seem to find a good word to say on behalf of either candidate, they cannot find enough kind words on the behalf of Mr. Bone. Within just a short amount of time, Bone has become a symbol of the likability and stable hero absent from this years major party candidates.

So while it's unclear whether either Trump or Hilary came out of the second debate victorious, it can be assumed that the true winner that night was America's sweetheart, Kenneth Bone himself. As the election comes closer and closer, please don't stop yourself from considering Kenneth Bone 2016. At this point, it's probably for the better.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
