What Your "Frequently Used" Emojis Say About You

Emojis have taken over the texting community. Almost any conversation you have will include at least a few smiley faces here and there. Most people would actually consider it "odd" for you not to use them while texting. As a result of this, every emoji-user has a frequently used emoji list. So, what does your list say about you?

You like to party.

If your frequent emojis list is full of booze and celebration icons, chances are you like to go out. You always let your friends know what is on your mind, even if that happens to be an obsessive amount of alcohol.

You're practically a comedian.

Your frequent emojis are made up of all kinds of humorous characters. Having such a big sense of humor, you spend half of your conversations laughing at the things you send and receive.

You get annoyed easily.

You don't find a majority of the things your friends say to be very amusing. Chances are, you're not a huge fan of the whole emoji overload. So your frequent emojis list is full of annoyed, serious, and bored emoticons.

You're a part of the "World Star" movement.

You're either Twitter famous or you're on it way too much. You love the "hype" of viral posts, modern slang terms, and odd humor. Your frequent emojis list is full of praising, money bag, and 100 emojis.

You're witty.

You don't just use emojis regularly, you like to think outside the box. Your frequent emojis list is full of very specific emojis that you somehow use to create your own emoticon language.

You're a dad.

You use a slim selection of emojis, and you use them to replace an entire sentence. Your frequently used list is full of thumbs up, fist pumps, and other emoticons that dads love to send.

You're a drama queen.

You never have a response that isn't extreme. No matter how important the text you're responding to is, chances are you'll do it with an unnecessary bawling, overjoyed, or furious face.

You're a 12-year-old girl.

You are extremely obnoxious when it comes to emojis. Looking at your list, people would probably assume you were a pre-teen who loves emojis way too much. Your frequent list includes any girl emoticon ever, makeup, and outfits.

You're old school.

You never really got into the whole emoji thing. While everyone began to use them in mass numbers, you sat back and threw in a traditional ":-)." Your frequent emojis list, if you even have one, is full of a few smiley faces.

You're in love.

You make it easy to tell that you've clearly caught the love bug. Scratch all the regular emojis you used to use, because your frequently used list is now overflowing with hearts and kisses.

You don't give a ****.

When it comes to your thought process for selecting emojis, it's nonexistent. Your frequent list consists of random emojis most people have never even seen, that you use for absolutely no reason.

These are just a few of the many truths that your frequently used emoji list can tell you about yourself. So, what does your list look like?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
