Little did her college friends know that four years prior, Daisy met up with some friends one night. A night that she will never forget and haunted her for years to come.
These two teenagers were separated by more then a thousand miles, yet their stories are very similar. Audrie, went to a party with her friends, drank a little too much and passed out in a room. Woke up the next day to find out that three boys drew on her entire body. There were lewd remarks including very sexual language towards her private parts. Audire then came to find out that she was sexually assaulted that night by those three boys because a marker was stuck inside of her. One week later, Audrie committed suicide because of the treatment of her classmates and the boys at her high school.
Daisy and her friend Paige were 14 years old and drinking in Daisy's bedroom. One night, one of Daisy's older brothers friends invited the two girls over. The boy and his friends at the time were 17 years old. The girls went over, drank some more, and Daisy was taken into one room and Paige into another. Daisy was then raped by her older brothers friend, while Paige was unsure of what happened to her. The boys then brought the two girls back to Daisy's house. They told Paige to go inside and they would bring in Daisy. But instead of bringing her into the house, the boys left her outside on the side of the house, in the grass, in below freezing temperatures. Daisy's mother found her in the morning, half frozen to the grass. In the coming years, Daisy attempted to commit suicide multiple times.
