If Virginia Colleges Were Characters From 'The Office'
The Office

The Office" is one of the most popular TV shows for the millennial generation. Whether you watched the nine seasons live, or binge watched the entire show on Netflix in two weeks, you probably call yourself a committed fan. You most likely have seen time taking buzzed quizzes to determine which character from the show you are, and you probably have taken it again because you didn't like the results. We have fallen in love with the characters, jokes, scenes, pranks, and relationships in this amazing show.

With that being said, this is my opinion of which character of "The Office" aligns with a few of the Virginia colleges and universities. Please enjoy.

CAUTION: THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION AND IS NOT MEANT TO INSULT ANYONE OR ANY SCHOOL.

1. Virginia Tech: Michael Scott

Probably the most popular school in Virginia, fun loving and the star of the show. You cannot have Virginia without Virginia Tech.

2.James Madison University: Dwight Schrute

Probably second best, behind Tech. It the Assistant to the most popular college in Virginia. Can get really crazy, but still stays on track.

3. UVA: Andy Bernard

The “Nard Dog” would be at UVA football games dressed to the nines. He screams UVA prep, and definitely be apart of the Virginia Gentleman Accapellla group.

4. University of Mary Washington: Pam Beesly

Not as popular as the other schools, but still a quality school. A school that you would be proud to go to, slightly artistic and very dream driven.

5. Old Dominion University: Creed Bratton

Buckwild, an atmosphere that displays every aspect of Virginia. Partiers, Rednecks, NOVA, Liberals, Republicans--- they have it all.

6. George Mason University: Jim Halpert

Not completely sure how you ended up here, but you don’t hate it. A diverse atmosphere with little surprises around each corner.

7. Virginia Commonwealth University: Kelly Kapoor

Unique, dramatic, and a good time. Need I say more?

8. College of William & Mary: Oscar Martinez

Knows nearly everything, cultured, and educated. That's why if Oscar was a Virginia college he would be part of the Tribe.

9. Christopher Newport University: Erin Hannon

Preppy, spirited, and proud to be a Captain.

10. Radford University: Meredith Palmer

There is no character to better describe this school than Meredith. A party animal who bounces back from whatever comes at her, whether it is getting her stomach pumped, getting hit by a car, or being forced to go to rehab. Radford students will bounce right back from these things and make an appearance at the party on Saturday.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
