At a young age, I developed two addictions: a thirst for knowledge and an itch for altruism. I am a voracious learner whose lifelong dream has been to become the first in my family to attend and graduate from a top university. With this in mind, I am determined to succeed in everything I accomplish.
I'm a global citizen and student, having lived and studied around the world. The first ten years of my life were spent in Libreville, Gabon; after that I moved back to California, living both in No- and So-Cal; six years later I moved to France to attend an international school in Paris and the following year I went back to Gabon to take care of my grandmother. My experiences of living all around the world have made me open-minded and more tolerable, but also more attuned to the world's issues.
Throughout my 19 years of life, I've witnessed my fair share of unfairness. From people getting marginalized in their own country, to amazingly talented individuals not getting the recognition they deserve. It is for this reason that I vouch to expose those trivialized individuals. I want to provide a platform for the people who do not feel they have a voice in this world.
That being said, it's not all gloom and doom! I will also tackle topics pertaining to the innocence of my generation: from the phenomenon that is Pokemon Go to all other pop culture tings.
