Every since I was little, I loved to write. I was big on journaling, and struggled with going over the word count rather than making it. When I got to college, I found my love for politics, but wanted to do something else besides be a politician or a lawyer. My sophomore year, I wrote my first personal narrative for College Magazine "From Cuban Bread to Blue Crab: Attending School Away from Home" for a class, got it published, and realized I want to work in media. Odyssey would provide me the opportunity to strengthen my writing skills for my future job as a political commentator, and help me continue my love for writing.
