Tyler Hanson

My name is Tyler Hanson, and I am a senior history major and education minor at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, from Gaithersburg, MD. I have two younger brothers and a younger sister, along with our beloved dog, Otis. I am a huge history buff, hoping to teach it one day, and also have a fond love of music, both classical, and classic rock. Outside of academics I am a major Doctor Who fan and follow lots of different sports. I also have a fondness for theatre (Broadway) and the movies as well, working at a movie theater when not at school. When I was younger, I was an avid reader, and wanted to become a writer of some sort. I took an interest in all kinds of writing – sports journalism, creative writing, newswriting, and the like. I practiced as best I could, even taking a clipboard with me to UMD Terps games with me .
