Tyessa Brown

Born in rural Pennsylvania, my family and I moved to Michigan when I was nine. I had the experience of growing up half in Pennsylvania and half in Michigan, which I think is pretty cool. All of my extended family lives in Pennsylvania so it's just my mom, my dad, my 4-years-younger sister, and me here. Plus our two dogs (Casey and Greta) and two cats (Cali, who belongs to my sister, and Hemingway, who is my cat if you couldn't tell by the Literature-themed name). Went to high school in Bad Axe, Michigan, a town of less than 4,000 people, so you got to know everyone pretty well, but they also knew all of your business and that was annoying.

I love classic Brit-lit, musicals, creative writing, Olan Rogers (a YouTuber - highly recommened), spending time in the sunshine, tumblr, TV dramas, sappy rom-coms, and weddings. My family means the world to me, and I also have a boyfriend who has been my best friend for the past seven years (we've been dating for two years). Life is good.
