Shelby Gerweck

In elementary school, I wasn't the kid who would run around jumping in puddles after a rainstorm. I was the one picking up worms off of the road and sidewalks and taking them to safety within the grass. I've always been a sort of outsider, a leader, a path-maker. I never went with the flow of traffic because I made my own flow. I realized young that I had a voice and an undying desire to tell people stories. Since fourth grade, I knew I wanted to write and share life-altering words with people. Here I am, months away from graduating, and I am hoping to begin laying a foundation of stories that I want to share with a world outside of my own.
