Clay Hurlbut

Clay Hurlbut is a twenty-two year old comedian, writer, and hair aficionado currently based in Chicago. He appears regularly on shows all over the city at places like The Laugh Factory (where he produces a popular show called The Young Hustle Show), The Second City, The Annoyance Theatre, The Revival, iO Theatre, as well as many bar shows across the city. Additionally, he performed recently in shows at The Broadway Comedy Club in New York City.

Clay’s comedy is a mix of personal humor such as what it's like to work at a candy store, people mistaking him for a women from behind, and dealing with the fact that if he gains 30 lbs people are going to think he looks like Sam Kinnison (people already do). He also does slick observational material, as well as broadminded social commentary on topics such as popular culture, race, gender, and politics told with a backbone of skepticism and unique perspective.
