Ruth Finley

I have always loved writing and exploring the world around me. Because of this passion, I chose to major in English and minor in communications. This past semester, I took a journalism class and learned that I love searching for information about a topic and sharing it with others. I have published a couple articles in the campus newspaper and have had some social media marketing experience. I would like a position with The Odyssey because it unites my curiosity with my love of writing and communicating. I would like to pursue a career in magazine writing or public relations. I believe working with The Odyssey would give me valuable experience and allow me to indulge my passions.
