If you told me I was pursuing a career in Sports Journalism 10 years ago, I would've asked why?
10 years ago, all I was interested in was video games. When I got home from school I would play video games. If someone asked me what I want to do for career, I'd SAY something in technology because of video games. I went to a high school because it had technology in the it's name. Same thing with college. I went to a technology school because I wanted to something video game related. My first year of college, I hated it. I got frustrated quickly and I realized technology isn't something that what I want to do for a career. I realized that I should do something sports related and get the hell of this college.
Sports is my passion. I live and breathe sports. I always do something sports related everyday, whether it be talking about it, reading it, or watching it. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed with the gift of playing sports, so the next best thing is to analyze it for a career. My biggest influences are sports talk personalities that are mainly on ESPN. Names like Stephen A. Smith, Skip Bayless, Michael Kay, and more, and I my hope to be up there with those journalists when people mention me.
