Rachel Kalinovik

I am currently a junior at Alma College and I am studying to become an environmental lawyer. I am heavily involved with many groups on campus, Phi Sigma Sigma and the Alma College Choir being my most time-consuming. I'm an outdoorsy girl, and I love to hike, kayak, mountain bike, hunt, and fish. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is where you'll find me most of the summer! My main goals currently include: keeping my GPA as high as possible so I can get into my law school of choice, staying active in the community through my sorority, and studying hard in order to receive a high score on the LSAT over the summer. One of my main goals for the future, as corny as it sounds, is saving the environment through my job and making sure that the population remains as healthy as possible. I also hope to fall in love, get married, and have a family (doesn't everyone?). My main reason for applying for The Odyssey is my love for the articles that are published by them. I stumble upon and find myself reading these articles all the time, and I love them! I would love to contribute to this wonderful site, as I have gotten quite a bit of advice from the articles myself. I would be ecstatic to write for The Odyssey, and I appreciate any consideration for the positions.
