Alex grew up in a small farming town in Ohio, went to a community college before transferring to Northern Kentucky University to finish his bachelor degree in Mathematics in hopes of being a high school teacher. His path changed shortly after spending a year tutoring high school freshmen in class, and found a renewed sense of direction after serving as an Orientation Leader, student leader, and mentor for three years in college. Seeking out how to make that a career, Alex turned to Higher Education - Student Affairs as a new path in life, and was recruited to Fort Hays State University for it's Master's in Education program. He's currently working on campus after moving to Kansas, and is doing his best to stay on top of things.
