i'm an undergrad student at appalachian state, majoring in accounting. however, my life has been a bit derailed.

i'm in recovery for an eating disorder which i've been haunted by for nine years. after returning from residential treatment after a severe relapse, i'm ready to share my story. i'm here to show others that it's okay to hurt, it's okay to be scared, and it's okay to make mistakes. it's how we go forward from there that shows who we truly are and how we've learned. whether you're in the midst of battle with an eating disorder or find yourself struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, i hope my words and experiences can be a light in a dark world. in no way do i have the answers but i've been through hell and back and am here for you.
