I'm a soon-to-be senior at Wright State University with a major in English - Creative Writing. I'm a feminist, a pacifist, and an idealist. I have loved writing since I was six years old and was published for the first time in print at eighteen in a teen literary journal. I write fiction, personal experience articles, spoken word poetry, performance pieces, scripts, and (occasionally) some very bad songs. I am kind of a jack of all trades at Wright State. I'm the Director of Student Affairs in the Student Government Association, an Admissions Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and formerly a Specialized Tutor for the Athletic Department. I also co-founded a (struggling) writer's group on campus, and am a very grateful recipient of the Adam Cline Scholarship for Creative Writing. All of this might sound sort of impressive (or maybe just overwhelming), but despite all these accomplishments, I still never manage to wear matching socks, can never get a picture to hang straight no matter how hard I try, and still don't really know how to drive a car. I'm a mess full of words, anxiety, and jokes I stole from stand-up comedians, but I'm a relatively happy mess, and I'm becoming better at embracing that and all it entails.
