I will utilize the Odyssey platform to bring my perspectives into our community's conversation by taking my experiences And forming them into a message that appeals to everyone. I hope that what I write would have an impact on my readers, leaving them feeling reassured, happy, and with an overall sentimental feeling. People love to read the Odyssey because you can find a story or piece of writing that connects to anyones life. Once you find a piece of work that does you establish a connection with it, which may cause you to reminisce on the past and bring back a tidal wave of emotions. It is important of me to represent my community because others may not know how a true North Dakotan student lives. Others don't know how insanely close our greek life is in the small town of Grand Forks. They don't understand our hate for most NDSU Bison fans, and they truly do not understand our overwhelming love for UND hockey. With the Odyssey I can truly show others that Grand Forks North Dakota is not just another small city, it's a crazy wonderful place I call home.
