Mindy Schanzle

I am a junior marketing major with a concentration in social media marketing at Bradley University. I have a passion in writing, social media marketing, and leadership. I strive to obtain skills in each area, and have had the opportunity to apply my knowledge in real world experiences throughout my college career. I am a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority at Bradley University. During my membership, I have had the privilege to serve as the Social Media Chair, where I developed and implemented social media marketing campaigns. I also serve as the webmaster and editor for Gamma Phi Beta's website. I manage and redesign our site on a daily basis, and I created and launched our blog. I create a content calendar, write blog posts, edit, and manage a team of 3 content writers. In my internship with Hult Marketing, I manage a wide array of marketing projects, but my main focus is on writing and editing blog posts, as well as managing our social media marketing efforts. Overall, I believe the position as Editor-in-Chief at the Odyssey would provide me with hands-on experience that would allow me to tailor my skills set to an audience that I connect with on a daily basis. I would love to be apart of this viral media source, and I believe having this experience would provide me with the tools I need to advance in my career.
