Melissa Svec

I'm nineteen, from the south side of Chicago and majoring in psychology. I wanted to write for The Odyssey for the same reasons I'm majoring in psych. I love to help and inspire people and I hope, through this, I can do that through my writing. I'm hoping that through my articles some boys, girls, men and women will find that they're not alone in what they're going through, and that they can also speak openly about themselves in a healthy and liberating way. I think everyone deserves to be happy and that if my articles put a smile on at least one face out there, that this is all worth while.
