Megan Keenan

I grew up in Northern New Jersey, surrounded by an amazing and loving family. I love to be outside and to play sports, but my favorite hobby is writing. Somewhere between learning the alphabet and writing a lengthy, college entry essay I realized how much I really loved to write. I love to give advice, but I love telling it like it is even more - something my friends brace themselves for. I absolutely love to laugh and to make others laugh as well. I like to think that I'm a pretty funny person, if you don't that's fine - just pretend you do. I wanted to become more involved on campus, but couldn't find any clubs or activities that really fit who I was until this opportunity to write for The Odyssey came about. I'm a Media & Communications major in my sophomore year here at Johnson & Wales. With that said, I'm not afraid to admit that I have absolutely no idea where I want to be after graduation or what career I want as of right now. If I had my way, I'd be the next Carrie Bradshaw. Unfortunately, I don't know how to properly work that into my resumé. It'll all come together in the end. If not, at least I got to pretend it would for four years.
