Hello everyone! I am Mary Walls and I am a Secondary Education English major at Pitt Johnstown. I love reading books and writing. I believe that books offer us experiences we can only dream about, and they allow us to experience many different emotions. Writing has always been a creative outlet for me. It has always been my goal as a writer to trigger my readers emotions and allow them to feel the words, instead of just reading them. If I am able to offer my readers a new perspective, or some sort of emotional experience, I know I have written a great piece. Something fun that you might want to know about me is that I am a huge hockey fan. The Pittsburgh Penguins have been my favorite team in the NHL since I was 10. It is something I am very passionate about, especially when it comes to the Pittsburgh Penguins organization.
