When I saw the opportunity to apply for social media director I immediately freaked out and got super happy! Everyone that knows me knows I am so interested in social media and live for Tumblr, Instagram, and Snapchat! My friends always ask if I will ever get bored of social media since they know me as the “social media queen”! I am such a social butterfly and believe that many things can be achieved through social media which is why I am so interested in the field of business. I am currently a sophomore at UIC studying Business management and am enjoying every moment of it. When I’m not studying or, on social media I am usually watching Netflix or, hanging out with my sorority sisters. The reason why I want to be part of the Odyssey team at UIC is so that our school can have more recognition and that Odyssey can become a part of every UIC student’s daily life. Every time I log into Facebook I see people sharing a new odyssey story and I am so interested in what the articles say! Whether its new celebrity gossip or something that happened on the news Odyssey is always a topic of conversation on social media and I believe that I can help contribute my share of social media love to the UIC Odyssey community!
