I'm Maria Laura, a Venezuelan junior student attending the University of South Florida, where I major in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast News.

Through my writing, I will not only use the platform to bring my personal perspectives and disseminate them through this medium, but also to share the perspectives of my community and voice out their opinions. I believe that the true purpose of informational and opinionated editorial writing is to help those who are unable to utilize these channels and share their knowledge, ideas or opinions.
