Maggie Painter

Like many college students, I am still attempting to find my way in a world that often seems overwhelming and misleading. Though a government major, I question every day what my purpose is and what I should strive to give to the world. Though sometimes difficult, I am enjoying the quest for personal meaning, as it is one full of discovery and reinvention. I am a runner, a songwriter, and a nature enthusiast. I am a lover of music and mountains and thunderstorms. I had the incredible joy to grow up in a small town on an island in Maine, and have a passion for the natural world that is indescribable. Since I was very young I have wanted to be a writer, and hope one day that my words, whether in writing or in song, will supply even an ounce of positive change. I pledge my commitment and positive energy to the Odyssey, and am eager to share my writing and thoughts with the greater community. Thank you for this opportunity!
