Through the Odyssey platform, as a member of Mary Baldwin's graduate student population, I aim to bring my perspective as a graduate student to engage with my readers on issues that converge within the fields of higher academia, undergraduate and graduate alike. I also aim to write about my experiences in my first year of graduate school, along the way informing readers who currently are thinking about post-undergraduate work on what to expect, what to avoid, and when to throw caution to the wind and have fun.
