I will utilize the Odyssey platform to bring my perspectives into our community’s conversation by taking my experiences and molding them into powerful words. College is the time to discover yourself and grow into the person you seek to be. However, on this challenging and exhilarating life journey, bumps in the road are bound to occur. Common things such as break-ups, make-ups, failed tests, and success is inevitable along the way. But, no one should ever feel alone while conquering these endeavors. Writing is a fascinating outlet that allows anyone from anywhere to feel connected with others. Personally, the many times I have read articles published by the Odyssey, I’ve been through the experience the author is sharing or have felt the emotion the author is trying to evoke. This is the exact effect I would like to have on an audience. Simply put, I want to form my experiences and passions into meaningful and relatable words- so everyone knows they aren’t alone in this hectic world we call college.
