Lauren Halversen

This year, I experienced the transition from high school to college in a way that gave me a new perspective of what being a BYU student means. When I felt that I was at my lowest point, there were people I had newly met who offered support and even strangers who shared a smile and a "Hello!". In moments of accomplishment, students celebrated and supported each other. As a BYU student, one serves others in any way possible, therefore creating an uplifting and enriching environment. Through the Odyssey, the content I produce will strive to elevate and strengthen others similarly to how I was strengthened by my peers. With the aims of a BYU education in mind, I hope to share with others across universities works that are spiritually strengthening, intellectually enlarging, character building, and leading to lifelong learning and service. Positive messages, thought provoking articles and goofy puns will not be excluded.
