Karin M. Yearwood

Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, I have grown to appreciate arts, culture, and diversity in multi-faceted settings. These include work, school, philanthropic efforts, and leisure/entertainment.

It is my dream to become an entrepreneur and creative strategist, working with project oriented, well-structured endeavors, but in an environment with few rules and constraints. I consider myself a free-spirit and free-thinker.

I desire to use this platform to discuss my perspective as a young woman of color who is also a feminist and comes from a home of privilege. Many provocative topics indirectly disregard the voices of minorities and I hope to tell stories that not only reflect this perspective, but are inclusive to the community at large.
