Kristy O'Connell

I am a 22-year-old geek who has joined The Odyssey team in hopes of sharing my most valuable thoughts and inspirations with anyone who might be interested in hearing what I have to say. For those CFers reading this, I am proud to say that I have been kicking CF's butt from the day I was diagnosed and am thriving thanks to Kalydeco. Though I may have CF, I never let CF have me. I actively set and reach my goals so that someday I will proudly remind myself that I have absolutely lived and milked each and every day for their absolute utmost worth (as should you!)

I am currently a (forever) student, a caretaker for a young woman with down syndrome, a mommy-and-me gymnastics teacher, a sign language enthusiast, and, of course, a writer.

I hope you will find my work to consist of all things thought-provoking and profound.

I am fascinated with psychology and human behavior, I love to meet people and learn about their lives and cultures, and I am always looking for something new to learn. I hope you will find all of my work to reflect these interests.
