Kristyn Drew

I am a big city girl from San Antonio, TX, who moved to the small town of Clinton, MS to attend Mississippi College. The culture is completely different from back home, but I'm figuring out how to fit in. I did almost everything in high school, from basketball to the newspaper to leading a worship band, but college has forced me to narrow down my past-times and focus on the few things I really love (mostly because I am in the honors program so I am very busy). Currently, my goals are to actually graduate in four years with an English Writing degree and work either in the publishing industry as an editor, or in the government as a speech writer. I want to be a part of the Odyssey first because I love to write. The miracle of written language astounds me, and I want to be able to influence and encourage others through my writing. Second, I love editing, and working with the Odyssey would allow me to do one of my favorite academic pastimes while accumulating valuable experience for both college and my future career.
