Kristina Pierre

There isn't much to know about me but I will tell you anyway! I grew up in Long Island, New York and have been here my whole life. I am 20 years old and I attend Nassau Community College at the moment but plan to attend either Hunter College or John Jay in NYC Fall 2017. I love to write and The Odyssey is now giving me a welcoming place to share my lifetime struggles with depression, anxiety, heart break and most importantly my triumph over it all! I want to help young girls, young adults, women of all ages, sizes, races, and backgrounds to find themselves and to find the power and courage to overcome any obstacle in their lives! I had no one to help me when I was in my darkest times, and if someone who is struggle happens to fall upon one of my articles and it sparks a will to change and new found fight within them? That is really all I can ask for!
