Kirstyn Conwell

Hi! I'm Kirstyn! I'm 18 years old, so I'm younger than most of my friends here at Texas State! One thing I strive for here (and anywhere else in all honesty) especially with being known as the #1 party school, is being a light to my peers and attempting to spread joy and truth whenever I can. I am heavily involved in Young Life; a Christian organization that reaches out to students and spreads the Word with them. It's a huge part of my life and I am currently going through Leadership Training to become a leader in April!

Naturally, I have a love for people of all ages! I coach a Freshman club volleyball team and I work at a private pre-school. Also, adventure is one of my favorite things! I love exploring new places, taking photos, and sharing my experiences with people!

I have seen people write articles about topics that they truly care about and that is what appeals to me most about Odyssey. I have always loved writing, but not the forced kind that they make you do in school. I would love the opportunity to get to express what's happening in my community while also enjoying every second of it.
