Kija Cammock

I will influence the the Odyssey community by giving them a new perspective of seeing the everyday things around us through poetry and other writings. Upon receiving 2nd place at my school poetry slam, I was referred to odyssey online by the newspaper staff. Learning more, I started thinking of the many things I could post to give people the chance to experience some of my own struggles through my writing so that they can in turn be inspired and encouraged.
