Kevin Lane

Currently I am a junior studying business-finance. Although I have a declared major, I don't have the slightest clue as to what I want to do after I graduate. What I do know however, is that writing can help me find that answer. Over this past year, I have been starting to write down things here and there. It has allowed me to see things in a way that I had not been able to before. This past semester, I saw a bunch of friends of mine on Facebook share this one girl's blog post about "How to get the girl". It appeared to be a call to males to saddle up and approach the girl and just ask her out. After I wrote a response to her blog about "how to get the girl isn't as easy as girls might think" and shared it with some of my friends, one told me that she cried while reading it. It was that moment that I wanted to find a way to keep writing in order to help move, motivate, or even touch somebody's life. I am hoping that I will be able to find a career doing those same three things and writing has been the first step so far.
