I’m in my sophomore year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English. I’m originally from Olympia, Washington and I have a passion for bringing stories to life.

The bulk of my writing is some form of analysis of pop culture, whether from the viewpoint of a political or social critique.

I want to become a journalist working on a multimedia platform. I see the Odyssey as a fantastic opportunity to expand from a mostly print background into an online-based platform. It’s an exciting way to bring new stories and new perspectives to a fresh audience.
