Katie Ward

My name is Katie Ward and I am a sophomore Marketing major here at Duquesne. I am a lover of adventures, donuts and Disney.

On campus I am a member of Sigma Kappa and I was recently elected to take over our Public Relations position in the spring semester. In addition to being an active member of my sorority, I am a Style Advisor for the small space style company Dormify. Being a Style Advisor involves submitting monthly blog posts and acting as a brand representative for the company.

I have been a Pittsburgh girl my whole life. I am a native of Plum, PA which is a short drive from campus. In my spare time you can probably find me binge watching Netflix or scrolling through Pinterest and Tumblr.

I am so excited to be a part of Duquesne’s team for the Odyssey to see where this position will take me. My biggest inspiration for writing is the hope that I will inspire or make a connection with at least one reader.

After graduation, I would love to pursue a career in the fashion industry, but my ultimate goal is to work at Google. I am also interested in going to law school, or in a dream world, becoming Olivia Pope.
