From the time I could read a full sentence, you’d see me walking around with a book in my hand or in my backpack. My childhood best friend was the same way and we’d spend hours after school trying to write our own book. And although our “novel” never made it to the shelves of Barnes and Noble, we simply enjoyed the act of being creative and formulating our own world through a story. I’ve known since a young age that I wanted writing to be a part of my life. I have desk drawers at home filled with short stories and books made of construction paper. Ultimately, my goal is to be a publisher where I would be able to read, edit and publish books and other works full time.
