Kateri Hartman

My name is Kateri. I will be attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this fall, with plans of potentially transferring to another state as an upperclassman, but I wanted to stay close to home and explore my options a little bit more before moving. I've always had a passion for writing. I have always wanted to pursue a career in writing but I was never able to do much more than write for school or scholarship contests. I have a wide array of interests. I am incredibly passionate about music. I attend a lot of concerts, they're my favorite thing to do, and I play the piano. I have a very wide range as far as taste in music. I love everything from Twenty One Pilots to Taylor Swift to Fall Out Boy to Eminem. I love snowboarding. I love the mountains and being outdoors, and I was able to go to X Games Aspen this winter. I played basketball, softball, volleyball, and track. I was on my school's speech team as a poetry competitor and I'm in National Honors Society, FBLA, service group, and other youth enrichment clubs.
