Karina DaSilva

I have experience working at the California Lutheran University Writing Center, where I had the opportunity to help look over, and edit multiple papers of all kinds. I also have experience working as an editorial intern for the California Lutheran University literary magazine, "The Morning Glory", where we read, select, and edit submissions by student writers. Furthermore, have worked on several development projects. This includes the opportunity I had to be a part of a core creative team of writers that developed the CLU Theatre Arts Department production of ‘Metro General’, a dramedy comprised of four episodes. As a writer with a vision, I used my exemplary sense of creative and editorial discretion to help condense the original ten episodes into four while maintaining the original continuity and narrative vigor. I have also written and directed several short films, including one that is slated to appear in the CLU Film Festival.
