Kaitlyn Sermon

Beginning with the stepping stone to my professional goals, I plan to graduate with a Master’s degree in Business, fluent in Spanish, and full of perseverance and learned experience. I am passionate about the field of marketing management, marketing research and journalism. What impulses the woman in the store to choose one brand and not the other, making a unintentional alliance to a company. I see the want and accessibility readers have for online articles. The current waves of changes made to the marketing industry due to technology and social media excite me and wave a flag of endless opportunities. I strive to be a well rounded business individual understanding all facets of the customer and engaging with them. I hope to make a life for myself that I can humbly decipher and see my own determination, ambition and creativity as the only hands to build it. I shall never stop my schooling, always jumping at the chance to learn and grow. The freedom and creativity of working within a magazine or online media properties offers the ideal setting of constant challenge and excitement for me, feeding a youthful ambition. A career that stimulates your imagination and originality as well as one that holds one’s interest adds so much balance and value to life. I am optimistic that if I engage in every opportunity to grow, that I will reach my goals. Writing about and researching relevant topics is a part of my day to day regime that will be an asset to any company. I am grateful for the opportunity to broaden my horizon and dive into the field of marketing and journalism.
