Wing-Yee Lau

Wing-Yee is a Chinese American writer who was born and raised in the South. She has a strong attachment to her heritage thanks to her parents shuttling her back and forth to Hong Kong every few years. Growing up as a bicultural kid, she gained cross-cultural communication skills and developed a rare empathy for people from diverse backgrounds. She still has much to learn and uses writing as a way to record her stories and personal growth. Wing-Yee often writes about the immigrant experience and multiculturalism. Once in a while, she dabbles in food reviews.
