I am a 20 year old pre-exercise science major at Georgia Southern University. I have called Kennesaw, Georgia home for 19 years of my life. I recently joined Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity. I can be described as being sarcastic and witty, but also very loving and caring. I am the oldest of 5 children and that is where I learned the majority of my leadership skills. Being the oldest gives me the drive to accomplish many goals. One of my major goals is to graduate from Georgia Southern with my bachelors degree in pre-exercise science. After this I want to be able to attend graduate school for physical therapy where I can obtain a doctorate degree. I eventually want to be able to open my own practice that subcontracts under world organizations such as the United nations. The purpose of doing so would be so that I could travel in third world countries and provide physical therapy to those in need. I would love the chance to write for the odyssey because even though my major has nothing to do with English, I have always thrived in my English classes. Writing gives me an outlet to express my feelings and thoughts. I love being able to advise my friends through different tribulations that they face. To be able to offer the same support to another girl through one of my articles would be an amazing opportunity. I know that power can come through thoughts and words, and I would love the potential to spark a flame in a young woman who reads my writings.
