Writing has become a rather effective therapeutic outlet for me. Through words written, I’ve found mental and emotional healing, priceless advice, and an escape from the sometimes harsh realities of life. If the words I write can help just one individual overcome whatever it is that weighs on them, I’d consider that a success. If all they bring is a smile upon a face that’s long been emotionless, that’s worth it.
