Jess Pliszka

My name is Jess Pliszka (pronounced: Plish-kah), and I am currently Pre-Med at Carroll University. I am a producer, published photographer & cinematographer, model / actor, and the Editor-in-Chief at the Headline It! Company.

I am a big kid and animal lover. I love snapbacks and high-tops, anything health and fitness, vlogging, and photo and video editing. I have Sphynx (hairless) cats that are the most lovable breed of cat, acting like dogs; I call them my 'kids' or 'babies' - I'm a crazy cat lady. I also have a rex/sphynx/tabby mix kitty named Grace, 2 Chihuahuas, and a coral reef ocean tank.

My mom, Jodi Pliszka, is an award-winning author, inventor, president/CEO, celebrated radio host, and motivational speaker. She also has Alopecia Universalis, an autoimmune disorder which causes a person to lose all of the hair over their entire body. I have been an advocate for Alopecia my entire life, spreading awareness and providing an education to reduce prejudices. I am also a huge anti-bullying advocate, and speak from experience, being bullied when I was younger for having almond eyes that looked different than other kids', due to my being half Chinese. I believe that if we would hate a little less, and love a little more, the world would be a much better place.

I also have a YouTube channel where I create and share videos to make people smile, educate the public on common misconceptions, or spread the word of reducing prejudices.
