Jessica Schacher

I am Jess, a Communications Major/Graphic Design Minor at UND. I have always loved to use writing and art as ways to express myself. In high school, I was captain of my debate team and developed strong skills in both research and writing. Writing cases and speeches was enjoyable and came relatively easily. I love everything involved in the creative process from drawing and painting to photography and typography. As a graphic design minor, I have an eye for design, layout and color. I have learned what makes art aesthetically appealing and photographs interesting. I think I could make a great addition as a writer, photographer or both! I have experience with writing deadlines and photography/design related courses. I am a team player, a hard worker and would love the opportunity to contribute to The Odyssey.
